Meet Sari Morris, your dedicated mental health advocate in Hamilton, providing compassionate guidance and support.

Meet Sari Morris, Your Dedicated Advocate

My name is Sari Morris, and I have been navigating the psychiatric system for the past 20 years. Throughout this journey, I have experienced a range of mental health services, including group therapy, one-on-one counseling, inpatient care, and outpatient support. I have come to understand that patients are often expected to advocate for themselves when they are at their most vulnerable—sick, hopeless, fatigued, and anxious.

I have spent my life advocating for a better quality of life, realizing the importance of fighting for a life worth living. No one should have to beg for care and struggle through a reactive system that should be proactive. Over the past few years, I have helped many people who were unsure where to start, didn’t know what to say, and didn’t know how to get the help they needed.

I specialize in helping individuals and families navigate Ontario’s OHIP psychiatric system, ensuring they understand how to access the right mental health services through public healthcare. This unique expertise allows me to provide guidance for those struggling to make sense of the system’s complexities.

I do not have any clinical background or credentials, and that is precisely why you should choose me. My firsthand experience as a patient provides me with invaluable insights. I know how to navigate the system from a patient’s perspective and am unafraid to fight for the care and support you or your loved one deserve. I am ready to help you find a life worth living and live it to the fullest.

“J&P” Hopeful Parents

Hopeless, that is the word I would use to describe my situation when I found Sari. Today that is not the word I would attribute to my life. Through her coaching services I was assisted in navigating what seemed to be an impenetrable mental health system here in Ontario. For years, I felt passed over by “overburdened” resources in the community but through Sari, her advocacy efforts, and the expertise I was able to find the care I needed in a timely manner. I now feel empowered to live a life worth living
